Visi Infrastruktur Sustainable Indonesia (VISI)

The essence of Visi Infrastruktur Sustainable Indonesia (VISI) is to anchor sustainability in the vision and policies and to incorporate sustainability aspects from the first planning stage in the project to strive for an optimal balance between People, Planet, and Profit.
The policy process revolves around embedding sustainability in strategic and executive policies, and the project process involves considering sustainability aspects in conjunction with technical aspects across all project phases. This is done based on an iterative process of formulating, recording, and implementing sustainability ambitions and defining opportunities, and passing them on to the next policy and project phase.

Vision to work together on the Sustainability of Infrastructure

  • Working together on high quality of space and quality of life in Indonesia;

  • Working together to ensure that the accessibility of people and organizations is no longer a problem;

  • Working together to ensure that infrastructure is a sustainable and dynamic service to society;

  • Working together to fully utilize the creativity and innovation capacity of the market;

And in this way make Indonesia an example of how infrastructure can be incorporated into a busy and sustainable society.

Opportunities arise by working together on sustainability. By combining forces, not everyone has to reinvent the wheel themselves. Knowledge and experience are shared, and people seek each other out and support each other in the process. The interaction between the market and the customer offers scope for innovative and sustainable solutions. Especially with the limited time and budget that people often have to deal with. VISION facilitates this collaborative process.

Principles of sustainable infrastructure

Based on Sustainable Infrastructure, there are three thoughts:

  • If interest and image are clear, people can be held accountable for their possible contribution to the project.

  • Each project is unique and has its own palette of spatial/sustainability aspects.

  • If people think of opportunities as early as possible and make room for everyone to contribute, but stay focused, projects will run better and more smoothly.

Sustainable Infrastructure process approach

This approach is about going through the steps in successive phases of policies and projects,
which are in line with traditional policy and project processes. These steps are the same in each phase.
